Katie Watts has been playing trombone since middle school and has been a teacher for the last five years. She has been a part of various audition-based ensembles including: Santa Clara Vanguard Youth Brass Ensemble, San Jose Youth Symphony, Santa Clara County Honor Bands and All-State ensembles. She is section leader for the trombones in the West Valley Symphonic Band.

Comfortable with beginners up to professionals and all styles, Katie brings a wealth of knowledge to the aspiring musicians she teaches. She is majoring in Music Education at San Jose State University.
